Postcards & Point of View: Seeing the Story Through a Character’s Eyes - Taylor Stein

Students can often tell what happened in a story, but understanding how a character’s thoughts, feelings, and actions shape their point of view requires deeper reading. In this residency, students step inside a story and use close reading, watercolor, collage, and writing to create one-of-a-kind postcards from a character’s perspective—making their comprehension visible.
