Exploring Modern Dance - Jordan Dehline
In this residency, students will explore contemporary modern dance. Students will learn what modern dance is, explore basic modern dance movement vocabulary, and will collaboratively choreograph brief dances based off of movement problems. Students will experience opportunities to build balance, coordination, endurance, strength, flexibility, creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration.
