Dolls in History, Dolls for Today - Jennifer Ogden
Dolls are perhaps the oldest plaything in history allowing children to play and imagine a myriad of scenarios. Together we look at the history of dolls, and make our own low-sew dolls, engaging in one sustained project. Teachers may select characters that align with literary or historical topics. Dolls may include Poseable Action Figures with an apple head component, Simple Marionette People, or Teddy Bears (integrating with Teddy Roosevelt).
