Self-Portraits for Self-Acceptance - Lizzi Juda

Students with higher self-esteem are more able to learn, challenge themselves and have stronger resilience in the face of adversity.  This residency honors students’ unique gifts through movement, improvisational theater games, poetry and culminates in the students creating a self-portrait.  Themes we will explore include self-awareness, self acceptance, social awareness and self-management – essentials for building a strong classroom community.
