Folk Tales You Can Watch! - Ryan Eggensperger

Through construction of a ‘crankie’ (homemade, hand-turned paper story reel) students identify the essential beats of a story, and learn how to convey story through a series of illustrations. Students will select their story from a series of myths, fables, and folktales before breaking down the story into five key scenes (introduction, rising action, climax, falling action, denouement) then illustrating, creating & narrating their crankie.
