SPARK! for the Arts – Nancy Bevins

May 3, 2018 By Kirsten Paisley

Nancy Norton Bevins has just relocated to Missoula from Los Angeles and is an Independent Feature Film Producer and screenwriter. She’s worked on productions from the Academy Award Winning film, THE ARTIST to creating community theatre, mounting BUS STOP for rural Stokes County, North Carolina ….and everything in-between. With a Master of Fine Arts degree from Loyola Marymount and a Business degree from Iowa State she thrives in managing and producing in the Arts.

“As a young 20 year old with a business degree, I went to work for corporate America in Houston. OMG, what have I done? I hated corporate America. Fast forward to traveling Europe, touring the Teatro alla Scala in Milano, falling in love with Opera, returning to volunteer at the Houston Grand Opera, and getting hired in Marketing. When I applied my business degree and acumen to the Arts; I was happy, successful and thrived.” – Nancy

Thanks for sharing your story, Nancy!
