ARTIST STATEMENT // “I believe that every child is an artist. As an educator, my goal is to help guide our younger generation to understand who they are and what they can do in order to learn and grow. Dance provides students with tools to learn visually and kinesthetically to support their understanding of new topics. One of the most wonderful tools that exists in dance is improvisation because it encourages self-discovery, creative thinking and confidence. Improvisation fosters 21st century skills and I believe that dance is a great avenue for exploring and navigating through our world.”
