Visualizing Poetics and the ”Zine” - Jesse Blumenthal
Students will explore the various techniques associated with poetry through the evolution of a single narrative selected on day one into a “zine” page on day five. We will begin with rule-based poetic forms and slowly remix the work into a new evolution. Our final student works will translate student’s poetry into visual form. Student’s works will be compiled by the artist into a photocopied “zine” to be distributed by the teacher following the residency.
